InLibroVeritas is a french publishing company founded in 2005.

Since 2004 I have partnered with founder Mathieu Pasquini to bring to life his idea of a website where enthusiasts can read and publish works of literature under various free licences (Creative Commons, GPL, GFDL, Art Libre...). These literary works can be read online for free, downloaded in various ebook formats (ePub, PDF) or compiled in a custom book printed on demand.

In addition to designing and developing the technical platform needed to accomplish such a feat, I also take great pleasure in managing the community and listening to the needs and questions of the authors and clients in order to offer them the best services, products and experience possible.

Thanks to its success, InLibroVeritas spawned other websites now part of the InLibroVeritas network. Of these websites, I retain the role of webmaster and technical lead for :

ILV Bibliotheca

In Libro Veritas Bibliotheca is the classic publishing arm of In Libro Veritas.
ILV-Bibliotheca.net offers a blog to follow the activity of the publisher and an online catalog to order books published under the In Libro Veritas Bibliotheca name.

ILV Edition

ILV Edition offers a self publishing service for books. Authors can publish books easily via an online interface.
These books get their own ISBN number and can then be ordered directly on ILV Edition or through any book store (including Amazon).

About me :

Thomas "Wicked" Boitel, 27 years old, born in France and currently living in Tampere, Finland.

I launched my very first website - emuplayer.com (nothing to do with the current website at that address) - in 1999 at the age of 15. It was subsequently bought by eFront Media Inc. in 2000 (they did not survive the internet bubble burst...).

I have 8 years of professional experience as a PHP developer and a total of 11 years of experience as a webmaster.

My weapons of choice are PHP, MySQL, XHTML 1.1, CSS, javascript (and AJAX, jQuery...).

I exclusively code by hand, using Quanta Plus on Fedora (Linux).

I administer various dedicated hosting and backup servers, running under Fedora, Gentoo and Debian and the help of administration panels Parallels Plesk Panel, Direct Admin, Webmin and in some cases just pure shell.

I am also appreciated for my patience and tact when dealing directly with visitors and customers and make an excellent online community manager.

When I'm not coding or thinking about how to improve the websites I work on, I enjoy playing music (guitar, bass, drums, piano and computer generated), reading and driving my motorcycle.
